Joining the ALMACO team isn’t just about getting a new job; it’s about joining a new family. We know our employees by name – not employee number – and that makes a big difference in the way that we do business. Our employees tell us that they can’t find another environment like ours, where everyone is friendly and willing to help you with your task. Our team members have a strong sense of achievement and involvement in our processes.

Why is ALMACO a great place to work?

  • We don't have set shift hours during the day. Employees work with their managers on a work schedule that meets work expectations and family requirements.
  • Work is varied and challenging (in a good way) - building custom equipment doesn't lend itself to repetitive tasks or monotony. Employees find themselves working in different departments and roles within the business; learning new skills in the process.
  • We are passionate about what we do. That includes the safety of our co-workers, the way we treat our clients and the technology that we create to help feed the world.

ALMACO does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation), genetic information, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. If you are a disabled veteran or a qualified individual with a disability and you are unable to use or have difficulty using this site as a result of your disability, please email careers@almaco.com or call 1-515-382-3506 to request accommodation or assistance.

ALMACO will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor’s legal duty to furnish information.

Please note that applicants have rights under Federal Employment Laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, Equal Employment Opportunity, and the Employee Polygraph Protection Act.
