ALMACO Weigh Hopper systems are mounted for easy access inside an environmental enclosure in cab models or securely mounted for easy access near the operator in non-cab models. Weigh hopper systems are sized according to crop type and plot-work objectives. ALMACO weigh hopper systems utilize ALMACO's Vantage HD harvest software which enables the user to capture the following key data points in any crop: Plot weight, Plot Moisture and Plot Test Weight (for a specifically measured volume of grain).
Many sizes and layout options are available including but not limitted to the following:
1/4 bushel weigh hopper - Typically utilized for soybeans and other dry bean varieties.
1/2 bushel weigh hopper - Typically utilized for large plot/stip trial soybeans, sunflower and other oil seed varieties.
1 bushel weigh hopper - Typically utilized for corn and larger plot variations where yeilds are high or overall plot size is large.
Test weight functionality is available in all ALMACO weigh hopper systems. Choose between permanently mounted test weight chambers or our exclusive interchangable test wieght chamber that enables you to quickly and easily change the size from 1lbs,2lbs to 5lbs and 6lbs.
